Parliament LIVE: Two days after Lok Sabha proceedings descended into chaos as opposition parties protested against the passing of the National Investigation Agency (Amendment) Bill, the bill is slated to be tabled in the Rajya Sabha today. The latest amendments will enable the NIA to additionally investigate offences related to human trafficking, counterfeit currency, manufacture or sale of prohibited arms, cyber-terrorism, and offences under the Explosive Substances Act, 1908.
